VisArts presents a fascinating exhibit of Japanese woodcuts and kimonos accompanied by works by American artists who worked in collaboration. The exhibit in the main galleries is from the collection of Jack Leizman, a Washington collector of Japanese prints for over thirty years and the Hatsuya and Nadia Azumi Kimono collection.
Collaboration is taken one step even further in the Portfolio Gallery, where a collection of extraordinary quilts were made taking in the utilitarian form known as the "Quilting Bee" to a new level of excellence and beauty.
